IEEE eXpress Conference Publishing | Printer Friendly |
To ensure that each conference article meets the PDF specifications required by the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, IEEE has created automated online processes that convert author-created source documents into Xplore-compliant PDFs. These conversions are the basis of eXpress Conference Publishing and are available for free to Conference Organizers via the stand-alone tool IEEE PDF eXpress™ or as part of the full range of services incorporated in the fee-based IEEE Conference eXpress.
First, be sure that all required documentation for IEEE conferences has been submitted. Then compare what services are provided to you by using either IEEE Conference eXpress or PDF eXpress.
Comparing IEEE Conference eXpress and IEEE PDF eXpress
eXpress PDF Conversion is underwritten by the IEEE Conference Publications department, technically-supported 24/7, and is free to all IEEE conferences. With either Conference eXpress or PDF eXpress, an author uploads a source file that is automatically converted to an Xplore-compatibile PDF. With PDF eXpress only, an author may upload a PDF to verify whether it is Xplore-compatibile. PDF conversion is only a small portion of the publication process. If your conference requires more support than just PDF conversion, please review the services incorporated under IEEE Conference eXpress Project Management. |
